1. Organise set days where you will film your title sequence:
As there the voice over is key to the explanation of the film titles. I feel that will only take 1 day to film all necessary materials.

29/11/11 Film Titles - Continued
There will be a scripted sound bridge. The lead female character will be having an sound flashback of an event that has already happened therefore initiating the non-linear narrative. This is the first draft.
Lead female will be sitting on a bench looking down sadly at a photo reminiscing
Girl: Mum, I'm going away.
Mother: What?
Girl: I'm leaving mum. I'm leaving with Lewis.
Mother: Tone raised What? Pause You can't leave. What am I going to do without you. I need your support. You think this is just some stupid little crush? Well let me tell you it isn't ok?
Girl: I don't believe you. It's not like you and dad were//
Mother: //Don't you DEAR MENTION YOUR FATHER IN THIS
Girl: I'm leaving with Lewis mum, and there is nothing you can do to stop me.
Mother: Yes. I. Can. I am your mother. DON'T YOU DEAR WALK OUT THAT DOOR!
Girl: Goodbye mum.
Mother: YOU WALK OUT THAT DOOR AND YOUR NEVER WELCOME BACK.

29/11/11 Film Titles - Continued
Through extensive research I have found a location for my film titles:
These are still images of the location however the images are in the wrong season. There are risks in filming in a public area such as:
- Interference from the public e.g. those not wanting to appear in the film titles, those causing trouble when filming.
- Dangerous debris e.g. empty bear cans, sharp objects
- Drugs paraphernalia
- Weather restrictions e.g. rain, wind, snow
- Equipment check e.g. regularly checking equipment is kept safe and secure

28/1/11 Film Titles - Continued
Initial Ideas: I have chosen to do a Romantic film title.
- I will be using a cover of Autumn Leaves By Eva Cassidy
- The titles will be in white to portray innocence of the character
- It will open with the non-diegetic music as the leaves fall
- Panning to a young girl on a park bench looking down at a picture, non-diegetic will then fade to allow the more dominant voice overs of a mother and daughter arguing. This will be the girl thinking about what has happened. Therefore I will be using a non-linear opening.
- The argument will be about her going out with a boy and her wanting to leave home to be with him.
- Using a series of close-ups to show the young girls sadness and a POV (point of view), high angled over the shoulder shot, looking down at the picture.

21/11/11 - 23/11/11 Film Titles
Task 2: Create a production company name. Research production companies who have supported a film with a similar genre to your own.
1. HT Media: HT Media was founded in 1924 when its flagship newspaper, Hindustan Times was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. HT Media (BSE, NSE) has today grown to become one of India's largest media companies. HT Media is based in Newcastle.
2. Sherwood Films: Sherwood Films is a production company based in Scotland and was founded in February 2009. It was conceived from a mutual love of film. Already we are inundated with unbelievably exciting film projects and we love every moment of it!
Sherwood Films Ltd, a film production company. The Executive Director of the company is Matthew Brown, an award-winning film producer. Matt has produced 100s of film projects, including adverts, short films, music videos, BBC productions, government promotional films and documentaries. He won a Scottish BAFTA for technical excellence in 2007.
3. Working Title Films: Working Title Films is a British film production company, based in London, UK. The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983. It produces feature films and several television productions, including films starring comic actor Rowan Atkinson. Eric Fellner and Bevan are now the co-owners of the company. Films produced with the Working Title Films support are: Paul, Wild Child, Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang, Definitely Maybe. Etc.
Task 3: Where can you find funding within the UK?
The research I have completed on production companies is based within the UK already however more well known production companies are: BFI (British Film Institute), BBC, National Lottery, Channel 4 Productions, Film4 Productions.

14/11/11 Lesson 4
Last lesson I managed to finish filming and have uploaded my work on to final cut express ready for today's lesson!
Firstly I had to render the whole clip. I was then able to cut the large clip into smaller clips using the razor blade. But before I cut the clip I used the wheel to select where to cut the clip at the exact moment by viewing it frame by frame. I regularly had to render the clips and then I dragged the clips together. After each edit I watched the clips again to make sure there were no glitches within the transition between the clips.
I have met the criteria to use match on match action. I have respected the 180 degree rule and I have a shot reverse shot whilst the two people are talking.
The only changes I have made are to the script, so that it is shorter.

7/11/11 Lesson 3
Filming Lesson 1
Today we're going to start filming. So whilst outside of class I have been thinking, to save time filming in case of mistakes I will be giving a copy of the script to each character within the scene. The characters will also have props to hide the script. Actor 1 will have a folder - like it is her portfolio and Actor 2 will have a pile of papers to have the higher authority.
Also I will hopefully upload my work so that I can edit it on Final Cut Express

2/11/11 Lesson 2
Task 2:
Decide who you wish to work with:
I have chosen to cast two people Marie and Naomi as within this exercise, the criteria to exchange two sentences in conversation.
Task 3:
Start planning your storyboard.
Here is the script:
Actor 1 enters the room - she is late for a meeting/interview. Actor 2 is already sitting at the table facing the door, she regularly checks her watch. Actor 1 enters and sits opposite Actor 2.
Actor 2: Hello.
Actor 1: Hello.
Actor 2: You're late.
Actor 1: I know.
Pause
Actor 1: I couldn't find the room for the meeting, so I had to ask for directions (laughs awkwardly)
Actor 2: Do you not have a phone, you could have notified me. (Sighs)
