21.11.12 - Rough Cuts and Extra Filming

After importing all of the clips to Final Cut Express, I was able to identify the areas of the music video which were missing. One of the sections which needs to be filmed is the lip syncing sections from the filming which I had already done the quantity of lip syncing I felt was not enough and from this I have arranged another day of filming on the 22nd November with only the artist. To create a successful lip sync in Final Cut Express I will need to film the whole of the song multiple times with a range of shots, angles and locations.

As the editing process continues I have been able to order all the of the clips in order of how they appear in the song so far, what I must be aware of is not having the shorter clips on the video 1 timeline on Final Cut Express as this timeline is for the lip synced clips. In today's lesson we were given a lip syncing tutorial and were able to use a country song called: "You Wanna What" to practise lip syncing the clips to the music.
